I don’t understand why people are making a huge deal over what they word as “some people not liking so and so’s art”

I mean of course. Art is subjective. And there will always be people who don’t like certain things. Why is that so hard to understand??? orz;;

I mean oh how on earth do people not love every artist in the world?????!!!

GAAAASSSPPPP LET’S GO COMPLAIN ABOUT PEOPLE HAVING PERSONAL PREFERENCES.

Like, I only just recently saw this person’s art, and it’s the same piece that’s been on several submissions for this blog, and really, this style of art is extremely subjective. Also it needs work, and has some obvious flaws. I’m  not saying it’s terrible, and I mean if OP was complaining about the artist being flamed, then yeah I can understand them complaining about that. But complaining about how you can’t believe that not everyone loves them? Yeah that’s a little….

again, I’m not complaining about the artist, but more of these people’s opinions about how people have subjective likes and dislikes when it comes to art.

also if you look through the notes there’s so many people white-knighting this artist and I don’t even understand why because it’s not like people are complaining about them? (that I know of, anyway)
